Today, I want to speak to you that God has chosen us. This is a message filled with divine love and grace. From the beginning, God has had a special plan for every one of us. This is a deliberate and loving choice made by our Heavenly Father.
When we think about God choosing us, it’s essential to reflect on the story of Moses. God chose Moses, an ordinary man with a stutter, to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Despite his feelings of inadequacy, God equipped Moses with the strength and wisdom needed to fulfill his calling. This shows us that God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.
Similarly, let’s look at the life of David. He was the youngest of his brothers, a mere shepherd boy, yet God chose him to be king. God saw David’s heart and knew he was the right choice. This teaches us that God’s selection isn’t based on our outward appearance or status but on our hearts and our willingness to follow Him.
In the New Testament, we see Jesus choosing His disciples. He didn’t choose the religious elites or the most educated individuals. Instead, He chose fishermen, a tax collector, and others who were considered ordinary by societal standards. Jesus saw their potential and knew they would be instrumental in spreading the Gospel. This reassures us that God’s choice transcends human understanding and expectations.
Dear friends, it is important to recognize that being chosen by God means we are loved deeply and have a purpose. God’s choice is rooted in His infinite wisdom and love. We are selected to be His children, to live according to His will, and to spread His love and truth to others.
Our response to being chosen should be one of gratitude and obedience. We should strive to live in a way that honors God and fulfills the calling He has placed on our lives. Let us remember that God’s choice is a gift, and with it comes the responsibility to live faithfully.
